Frequently asked questions

What is textile ERP and what does ilgiERP’s textile solution cover?

Textile ERP is enterprise resource planning software that manages the stages of textile production, from yarn to fabric and shipment, together with orders, inventory, quality, costing and accounting in one system. ilgiERP’s textile solution covers cotton and polyester yarn, weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing, quality and laboratory, warehouse and traceability processes.

Is POY and textured yarn production supported?

Yes. POY and textured yarn have their own production request, work order and order types; denier, dtex, filament count and twist data are recorded, and pre-labels are printed for textured yarn boxing. On the cotton yarn side, fiber, blending and blendomat production run in the same system.

Can weaving and knitting be managed in the same system?

Yes. For weaving: warps, beam stock, fabric designs, the weaving plan and loom checks. For knitting: fabric cards with diameter (inches), gauge and needle count, circular and flat knitting work orders and yarn allocation by lot. All of it is managed in the same system.

Can the 4-point system be used for fabric quality control?

Yes. The quality module calculates defect points and a quality grade per roll according to the 4-point system; defect groups, quality definitions and customer-specific cutting rules can be defined.

How are dyehouse recipe costs calculated?

When several work orders go into one dye vessel, the chemical and dye cost in the recipe is allocated to the work orders by their theoretical weight. For fabric, the weight is calculated from width, length and GSM; for yarn, from the yarn count (Nm).

Can subcontracted production be tracked?

Yes. With subcontracting dispatches, receipts from subcontractors and a report of materials waiting at subcontractors, you never lose track of goods processed outside.

Can I see which yarn a roll was made from?

Yes. The stock genealogy tree shows which materials and which supplier a fabric roll or yarn batch came from, and which production stages it went through.

How much does the textile solution cost?

All modules, including the textile solution, are covered by the same subscription fee. ilgiERP is available from 250 USD per month, excluding VAT; the price depends on the number of concurrent users.
